It has been revealed that voice actor Houchuu Ootsuka will be joining the anime CITY THE ANIMATION as the narrator, based on the original work by Keiichi Arawi. With this announcement, the full main cast has now been revealed.
CITY THE ANIMATION, which is set to begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations on July 6th, tells the story of the people living in the "CITY" — a place filled with laughter, love, and heartbreak. The cast includes Mikako Komatsu as Nagumo Mitori, Aki Toyosaki as Nikura, and Yui Ishikawa as Izumi Wako.
Advance screenings will be held at five locations nationwide starting May 31st. While tickets for the Tokyo venue have already sold out, information on tickets for Osaka, Kyoto, Miyagi, and Fukuoka will be announced soon.
