The romantic comedy manga "Otome Kaijuu Caramelize" by Spica Aoki is getting a TV anime adaptation, set to air on TBS and BS11 in 2026. A teaser visual and PV have been released, along with an illustration commemorating the anime by Aoki, and details on the main cast and staff.

The story follows high school student Kuroe Akaishi, whose body transforms into a monster when her emotions get out of control. Believing no one would accept her, she resigns herself to her fate until she has a close encounter with Shinta Minami, the most popular boy in school. This interaction worsens her condition, leading her to transform into a giant monster. The latest volume, volume 9, will be released on December 23rd. The PV shows Kuroe alienated at school, Shinta approaching her kindly, Kuroe's emotions flaring due to Shinta, and the appearance of a mysterious monster in the city. Hikari Senga will voice Kuroe, and Daishi Kajita will voice Shinta.

Other cast members include Akira Sekine as Manatsu Yuri, Haruka Shiraishi as Raimu Kawano, Kotono Mitsuishi as Rinko Akaishi, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kotaro Hibikino, and Eriko Matsui as Jumbo King. LIDENFILMS will handle animation production, Teruyuki Omine will direct, Yuniko Ayana will be in charge of series composition, and Mitsumi Nakayama (NUT) will handle character design.
