The second film in the Mononoke trilogy, "Hinezumi," premieres in Japan on March 14. A trailer, visual, and two new cast members—Chō as Yoshimichi Tokita and Kenyuu Horiuchi as Rōjū Ōtomo—were revealed.
The first movie, Mononoke: Phantom in the Rain, debuted on July 26 in Japan and streams on Netflix. Originally delayed from 2022, the film features Hiroshi Kamiya as the Medicine Seller after Takahiro Sakurai's withdrawal. Kenji Nakamura directed, Kitsuneko Nagata designed the characters, and EOTA animated the film. Aina The End sings the theme, "Love Sick."
