A new anime adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo's Cat's Eye manga was announced at Disney Content Showcase 2024 in Singapore. The anime, debuting exclusively on Disney+ in 2025, will feature a remake of the 1983 opening theme by Ado.
Originally serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump (1981–1985), the manga sold 20 million copies and inspired a 73-episode anime (1983–1985). Recent adaptations include a Lupin III vs. Cat's Eye crossover (2023). The story follows the Kisugi sisters—café owners by day, master thieves by night—on a mission to recover their missing father's art collection.
