The anime adaptation of Kouki Fuyutsuki's light novel Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai (The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom) will debut in 2025. The main cast was announced:
Mia Adenauer: Kaede Hondo (Yuusha, Yamemasu)
Oswald Parnacorta: Takuya Satou (Yuukoku no Moriarty)
Julius Ziltonia: Kouhei Amasaki (Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go...)
Shuu Watanabe (Shinobi no Ittoki) directs at TROYCA. Keiichirou Oochi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) handles the script, and Shuuhei Yamamoto (Kakushigoto) designs the characters.
The fantasy romance, first published online (2020–2022), has over 1.5 million copies in print. Overlap released 6 volumes, with the 7th due December 25. The manga by Mago Ayakita began in 2021, with 5 volumes out.
Seven Seas Entertainment will release both the light novel and manga in English in February 2025.
