The manga "Jirai nan desu ka? Chihara-san" by Ryon is getting a TV anime adaptation. Suzushiro Sayumi and Ura Kazuki will reprise their roles as Mai Chihara and Kuroki, respectively. The romantic comedy follows Kuroki after he sits next to Chihara, a high school girl rumored to be 'jirai-kei' (landmine-type, a fashion style referencing a delicate and easily triggered personality). The anime will be directed by Yasumasa Fujii, with Keiichiro Ochi handling series composition, Majiro as character designer, Arisa Okehazama composing the music, and SynergySP producing the animation. A teaser visual, character designs, and an illustration by Ryon have been released, with ryon expressing her dedication to the project.
