The anime Boukyaku Battery has been confirmed for a second season. Based on Eco Mikawa’s manga, the series follows former baseball stars Haruka Kiyomine and Kei Kaname, who reunite in high school under unexpected circumstances. Once an unstoppable pitcher-catcher duo, Kaname has since developed amnesia and become carefree, losing his passion for baseball. The story follows Tarou Yamada, a freshman who once looked up to the pair, as he tries to reignite their love for the game and form a new team with other ex-players at their school.
